30 March 2025; We have finally removed the rooftop air conditioner. This was removed to make way for the third string of solar panels, that consists of six 190w panels connected to a Victron SmartSolar 150/20 MPPT controller.
This air conditioner will be replaced with a ducted mini-split air conditioner, that will also be integrated into an energy recovery ventilator (ERV). The new air conditioner and ERV will run off the 14 solar panels installed on the roof.
